This showy French Lavender produces short flowers heads topped with particularly long, purple bracts that flicker in the breeze. The light green foliage of Lavender 'Flaming Purple' is characteristically aromatic and evergreen, forming a rounded shrub in time. This attractive variety is always popular with pollinating insects. It makes a charming addition to cottage garden borders, wildlife gardens and patio containers. In mild areas Lavender 'Flaming Purple' can be grown as a low hedge beside a pathway, where its fragrance will fill the air every time you brush past. Height and spread: 75cm (29").
