Grown for its narrow, conical habit, Junipers chinensis 'Stricta' punctuates the garden with evergreen structure and formality all year round. This upright Chinese Juniper has aromatic, grey-green foliage and peeling bark when mature. A superb narrow conifer which forms a manageable specimen tree for smaller gardens, and requires virtually no maintenance. Height: 2.5m (8'). Spread: 60cm (2').

Plant Junipers in a sunny or lightly shaded position, in any well drained soil; juniper trees tolerate dry, chalky or sandy soils. Incorporate plenty of well rotted manure or garden compost to improve the soil prior to planting, mixing it thoroughly and deeply.
More Info Water Juniper plants regularly throughout the growing season until fully established. Juniper does not require any pruning. Caution: irritant to skin and eyes.
