This vigorous twining climber will quickly cover an unsightly shed, and scales walls and fences with ease. In smaller gardens restrict its growth by growing it in a patio container over a sturdy obelisk. Position Jasmine x stephanense close to paths and entrances where its intoxicating aroma can be appreciated each time you pass. Height and spread: 5m (16’).

How to Grow

Grow Jasmine plants in any moist, well drained soil in a sunny or semi-shaded position with shelter from strong winds. Grow Jasmine against an appropriate support such as trellis or wires attached to walls and fences. Tie the shoots into their support as they grow.

Feed and water jasmine plants regularly throughout the growing season. After flowering, prune out the oldest stems, and reduce the remaining stems to restrict their vigorous growth to the available space.
