A treat for the senses - Jasminum x stephanense 'Starry Starry Summer Scent' sweetly scented and a vision to behold! The starry pink flowers fade to white at the edge of each petal, giving it a pretty bicolour appearance. This charming Jasmine is a vigorous twining climber, which will quickly cover trellis, pergolas and obelisks. Plant it close to a well-used seating area, or an entranceway where you can breathe in it perfume every time you pass. Grow this deciduous climbing plant in a warm, sheltered spot in the borders or a patio pot, where it can be trained onto a suitable climbing frame. Height and spread: 300cm (118").

Plant height and spread is seasonal therefore we list by pot size rather than a defined plant size. The height and spread of the plant delivered will vary depending on the season, meaning arrival images are an indication only.

How to Grow
After a period of 7 to 10 days acclimatisation to outdoor conditions, transplant Jasmine stephanense into large patio containers or borders. When growing jasmine in containers, choose a loam based compost such as John Innes No. 2. In borders, plant jasmine in any moist, well drained soil in sun or semi-shade. Provide the twining stems with an appropriate support such as trellis or wires attached to walls and fences.
More Info
Feed and water jasmine plants regularly throughout the growing season. After flowering, prune out the oldest stems, and reduce the remaining stems to restrict their vigorous growth to the available space.
