The Hotbin Mini Composter is a compact mini version of this innovative new composter that is gaining popularity with gardeners at an incredible pace! Using hot-compost technology, the contents reach temperatures of 40-60C, allowing the incredibly quick compost producing usable compost in just 30-90 days – that’s 32 times faster than a traditional compost bin. (The length of time can vary on quality and quantity of waste and the outside temperature)

With a 100 litre capacity, it is ideal for households of 1-2 people producing a minimum of 2.5kg of waste per week.

Cleverly designed as an insulated, sealed unit, with a lid that keeps the heat in, and a built-in bio-filter to prevent the escape of unpleasant smells. The heat will also destroy fly larvae, pathogens and weed seed to prevent contamination around your garden.

Due to its hot compost technology, the Hotbin can compost a wide range of waste. Add leaves, grass clippings, garden waste, vegetable peelings and even cooked meat and small bones!

Remove compost quickly and easily via the large hatch panel. A built in tap allows the removal of leachates in liquid form which can be made into plant fertiliser.

Hotbin Composters are made from 100% recyclable expanded polypropylene and come with a reassuring 3 year guarantee.

Also available is the new Hotbin Plinth that raises your HOTBIN off the ground by 125mm (5 inches) providing easy access to slide a suitable receptacle underneath the HOTBIN tap when draining the liquid fertiliser. Durable, sleek and hardwearing, situate the Plinth on a flat level surface and ease the HOTBIN into the contoured raised edges to provide a snug, firmly nested fit.

HOTBIN Mini features a much-requested leachate collection system. Leachate is naturally created as part of the HOTBIN composting process and can be used as a liquid fertiliser. Like the Mk.2 HOTBIN, HOTBIN Mini has a sloped internal base which funnels the liquid towards the drainage cap like water draining from a shower tray. This liquid can be drained via the cap as required. A new tongue and groove join helps improve the lid seal keeping the lid firmly closed preventing water ingress during heavy rainfall and locks in the heat helping the HOTBIN to work even more efficiently.

Seeds and garden supplies will normally be delivered within the time period stated against each product as detailed above. Plants, bulbs, corms, tubers, shrubs, trees, potatoes, etc. are delivered at the appropriate time for planting or potting on. Delivery times will be stated on the product page above, or in your order acknowledgement page and email.

Orders for packets of seed incur a delivery charge of £2.99.

Orders which include any other products will incur a delivery charge of £6.99.

Where an order includes both packets of seeds and other products, a maximum delivery charge of £7.99 will apply - regardless of the number of items ordered.

Large Non-standard items may incur a higher, lorry delivery charge. Charges will be calculated at checkout, but an example of the lorry charges are listed below.
