Flowering Months

An exceptionally pretty cultivar with rather unusual colouring that makes it really stand out from the crowd! The young foliage of Heuchera 'Caramel' emerges a muted shade of red which slowly matures to copper and gold. The autumnal shades of this evergreen perennial persist all year round. Dainty sprays of pale pink flowers also attract pollinating insects to the garden in summer. This striking variety makes an attractive focal point at the front of borders or planted into mixed patio containers. Height and spread: 45cm (18").

How to Grow

Heuchera plants dislike soils which are particularly dry or have a tendency to waterlogging. Plant them in moist, fertile, well drained soil, adding plenty of compost or well rotted manure to amend heavy clay or sandy soils. Choose a position towards the front of the border in full sun or semi shade.

Feed and water coral flower plants regularly until they are fully established.Apply a mulch of well rotted manure around the crown of each plant each spring. Lift and divide clumps of heuchera plants every 3 years in autumn to maintain vigorous, healthy growth.
