Description
This upright, evergreen shrub boasts a dense covering of glossy foliage all year round. The young leaves are a rich, purple colour, changing to dark green as they mature. Throughout the summer, Hebe ‘Midsummer Beauty’ is covered with short, lilac-purple flower spikes, attracting bees and butterflies to the garden. Low maintenance and easy to grow, this hardy shrub offers excellent year round colour and structure in the garden. Perfect for free draining soils in sunny borders and containers. Hebes cope well with coastal locations and make a great choice for a wildlife garden. Height: 200cm (78"). Spread: 150cm (59").

Plant height and spread is seasonal therefore we list by pot size rather than a defined plant size. The height and spread of the plant delivered will vary depending on the season, meaning arrival images are an indication only.

1 x 2 litre potted hebe plant (56830)

How to Grow
Grow Hebe plants in moist, well drained, light sandy soil. Avoid planting Hebes on acid soils. Choose a position in full sun or semi shade and sheltered from strong winds.
More Info
Water well after planting. Once established Hebe plants require little maintenance other than an occasional trim after flowering to maintain the shape of the plant.
