Description

Geranium cinereum 'Ballerina' is a charming perennial that captivates with its low-growing, mound-forming habit. This exquisite cultivar showcases delicate flowers in a soft pale pink hue, elegantly adorned with striking dark purple veins. The blooms emerge in abundance from late spring and continue to grace the garden throughout the summer months, creating a stunning visual display that not only enhances the landscape but also serves as a magnet for pollinators, including bees and butterflies. Its enchanting presence adds a touch of sophistication to any garden setting.

This versatile plant is particularly well-suited for a variety of landscaping applications, making it an ideal choice for garden borders, rock gardens, or as a lush ground cover. Its ability to thrive in both full sun and partial shade allows it to adapt seamlessly to different environments, while its preference for well-drained soil ensures that it remains healthy and vibrant. Once established, Geranium cinereum 'Ballerina' demonstrates remarkable resilience, showcasing its hardiness in the UK climate and tolerating frost with ease.

Beyond its aesthetic appeal, this perennial is also known for its drought tolerance once it has settled into its surroundings, making it a practical addition to any garden. The low, mound-forming growth habit not only provides a lush carpet of color but also helps to suppress weeds, allowing for a more refined and polished garden appearance. With its combination of beauty, adaptability, and low maintenance requirements, Geranium cinereum 'Ballerina' is a luxurious choice for those looking to elevate their outdoor spaces with elegance and charm.
