This strong and practical Metal Raised Modular Planter can be set up in any one of six shapes and sizes to suit your own needs, providing a superb alternative to making your outdoor space into an allotment. It’s perfect for the gardener who wants to have traditional style alongside modern features.

Extremely durable, strong but lightweight, it is made to last, produced in weatherproof hot-dipped galvanised zinc steel and finished in a lovely shade of hunter green. An additional feature is a rubber edging safety band that prevents sharp edges and finishes it off nicely.

This metal raised bed will provide the perfect base at 35 cm high, suitable for any home growing, whether for vegetables, herbs or flowers. It minimises bending and makes weeding easy!

You can fill the raised bed with the soil of your choice, allowing you to tailor the growing media to exactly suit your crop. The soil in the raised bed will warm up faster than the soil in the ground, aiding rapid germination.

Growing in raised beds also helps to protect plants from pests and reduces competition for water and light from other plants.

Assembly:

Easy to assemble in less than 30 minutes with just nuts and bolts (you will need a screwdriver and a pair of pliers). Then simply fill the bed with soil.

Please note: 

• There is no base. If using on a patio or decking we recommend using a suitable liner and laying on a bed of approx. 10-20mm of gravel to aid drainage.
• Rubber Safety band goes along the top of the planter to prevent sharp edges (see image above).
