The Euonymus japonicus 'Green Spire' is a lovely shrub or small tree which has stunning evergreen, glossy and oval shaped leaves. They do not need too much maintenance so are useful for perhaps hedging or even can be used in a courtyard or cottage garden. Height 100cm (39”) and spread 50cm (20”).

How to Grow

Euonymus plants are versatile, thriving in any soil from light and sandy to heavy clay provided that it is moist and well drained. Euonymus will grow happily in sun or semi shade; however variegation will be improved when grown in a sunny position.

Water well until fully established. Once established, Euonymus plants require little maintenance, except for occasional summer pruning after flowering to maintain the shape of the plant and keep it within its allotted space
