Description How to Grow More Info Delivery Reviews
Heart shaped foliage makes an attractive backdrop to the abundant golden-yellow flowers of this hardy perennial daisy. As the name suggests, Doronicum caucasicum 'Little Leo' is neat and compact compared to some of its lankier relations, making it perfect for the front of shaded borders. Leopard's Bane, as it is commonly known makes a pleasing cut flower, and proves to be a magnet for pollinating insects in the garden. Height and spread: 30cm (12").

Flowering Months
Deadhead faded flowers to encourage more blooms to be produced. Lift and divide overcrowded clumps of Leopard’s Bane in autumn.
Doronicum enjoys a moist, humus rich, well drained soil in partial or dappled shade. In wet soils Doronicum caucasicum may suffer from root rot, particularly during the cold, winter months. Improve wet soils prior to planting by adding plenty of grit and well rotted organic matter.
