Dahlia ‘Show ‘n’ Tell’ is a sublime semi-cactus variety which is going to invite you into the garden with its large and show blooms. The semi-cactus flowers are a sunny orangey-red, with yellow tips filled with vibrancy. These will grace your borders or beds between July and October so are a fantastic option for an all summer long burst of colour. Also, they are a wonderful option for a grand cut flower display. Height 90cm (34") and spread 50cm (20").

Pot up Dahlia plants and grow them on in frost free conditions until large enough to plant outdoors. When all risk of frost has passed, gradually acclimatise dahlia plants to outdoor conditions over 7 to 10 days before planting out in beds, borders and containers. Choose a position in full sun on any rich fertile, moist, well drained soil.
More Info Feed and water dahlias regularly throughout the growing season. While dahlia plants are still young, pinch out the growing tip of each stem to encourage bushier growth and masses of flowers. Deadhead faded dahlia flowers to encourage more blooms to be produced. Bedding dahlia are generally grown as annuals, however dahlia tubers may be lifted in autumn and stored over winter in trays of peat or sand, in a cool but frost free position if required. They can be potted up the following spring.
