These tough little tubers send up their dainty pink blooms in the depths of winter, making a cheery companion for Snowdrops, Crocus and other early species. This charming blooms boast reflexed petals, standing just 10cm (4") tall. The rounded leaves are dark green, marbled with a silvery overlay that creates a stunning carpet of ground cover throughout rockeries, woodland areas and at the base of deciduous trees and shrubs. The foliage remains throughout the spring before disappearing below ground for a dormant summer period. Height: 10cm (4"). Spread: 15cm (6").

2 cyclamen bulbs (KC1108)
1 x 9cm potted cyclamen plant (KC4247)
3 x 9cm potted cyclamen plant (KC4248)
6 x 9cm potted cyclamen plant (KC7640)

How to Grow
Grow Cyclamen in a well-drained soil that is rich in organic matter, in partial or dappled shade. Work some organic matter such as well-rotted manure or compost into the soil prior to planting. Cyclamen grow best in the dappled shade of trees and shrubs, which helps avoid excessive summer moisture. When planting Cyclamen make sure the rough side of the tuber with the old stems and roots protruding is facing up and the smoother, rounded side is facing down. Plant the corms at a depth of just 3cm (1").
More Info
Allow the foliage to die back naturally as this will help to feed the tubers for the following year. Mulch Cyclamen tubers with leaf mould to protect them from hard frosts. Where Cyclamen are grown under deciduous trees, simply leave a covering of fallen leaves over the top of the tubers. Caution: harmful if eaten.
