Description
This fascinating succulent has an intriguing appearance. Fleshy grey-green leaves, with red edges, spiral around the stems to create unusual stacks of foliage. The young stems are upright, but gradually become more prostrate as they grow, eventually trailing downwards with maturity. Crassula perforata, or String of Buttons as it is commonly known, is a relatively quick growing plant. It thrives in a bright sunny spot, and makes a fine windowsill plant, mingling well with other succulents as part of a low maintenance display. Height and spread: 60cm (24").

Please note: Some houseplants are toxic or harmful to pets if ingested. If you believe your pet has consumed a poisonous plant then seek veterinary attention immediately. Take a sample of the plant with you.

How to Grow
Grow Crassula in full light with some shelter from the hottest sun. An average temperature of 10- 23C (50-75F) is ideal.
More Info
Water Crassula whenever necessary, allowing the compost to dry out between waterings. These fleshy leaved succulents store water in their leaves so they use surpisingly little water throughout the hot summer months. House plants should be fed regularly between March and September when they are in active growth. Reduce watering in winter.
