Description

Cordyline australis ‘Lime Passion’ forms a punky hairdo of stripy lime and cream variegated foliage that lends an exotic feel to gardens, borders and pots. Cordyline’s are great for adding some dynamic spiky accents to planting schemes and breaking up the monotony of mounding plants. These compact, evergreen shrubs provide all-year-round interest and architectural structure, maturing over time into a tree-like form with a tall, bare stem. A fabulous, low-maintenance focal point for a sheltered garden, especially in those challenging coastal locations. Height: 1.2m (47in). Spread: 1m (39in).

How to Grow
Grow Cordylines on fertile, well drained soil. Choose a sheltered position in full sun. Cordylines are particularly well suited to mild coastal locations but do enjoy a fertile soil, so it is well worth incorporating some well rotted manure into the soil when planting.
More Info
Feed and water regularly until fully established. Once established, Cordylines need little attention, but will require some winter protection should temperatures dip below-5C (23F). In cold areas it may be preferable to grow Cordylines in large patio containers that can be moved undercover during the coldest months.

Thompson & Morgan strives to ensure that all its plants are delivered to you in the perfect condition for planting. While the majority of our nursery plants cope well with slight delays in intransit, sadly, the time it takes to deliver to certain locations in the UK means that we can't guarantee this for some of our smaller plug products and tender bedding and vegetable lines, which do not respond well to the extra journey time. So regretfully while we offer the majority of our live plant offering nationwide, we are unable to ship plugs, begging plants and tender vegetable plants to the following areas: HS, IV41-IV49, IV51, IV55-56, KW15-KW17, PA34, PA41-48, PA60-PA78, PA80, PH40-PH44, TR21-TR24, ZE1-ZE3
