Description
Cedrus atlantica is a tree from the pine family Pinaceae and is native to the Atlas Mountains of Morocco and Algeria. It is a large, evergreen conifer, when young it is conical but as it begins to grow and mature it broadens into a spreading tree. Space is required for this gorgeous specimen; this will allow it to grow to its full potential and be fully admired. It has silvery-blue needles and barrel shaped cones. Height 12m (39’3”) and spread 8m (26’2”).

How to Grow
Grow Cedar trees in a sunny open site, on any well drained soil. Cedars will tolerate chalky soils well.

Feed and water young Cedars until fully established. Once established, they require virtually no maintenance.
