Stunning show of flowers 2014-03-22
I am a beginner and I was amazed - I purchased these in 2013 (my very first try at sowing seeds) and at least half of them flowered the first year with the other half still in the garden with amazing rosettes waiting to flower this year. I was told that I was supposed to stake them to support them but I left them as they were at the edge of a raised wall - guess what - they looked amazing trailing down over the wall onto the patio and produced masses of huge flowers all the way into october. I found that pinching off spent flowers produced masses more. I have also noticed that the ones that flowered last year have dropped seeds and have self seeded this year.
