Description
If you fancy a change from Petunias in your patio pots and baskets, then Calibrachoa Calita® 'Apricot Shades' makes a great alternative. This versatile annual boasts tumbling stems that spill elegantly over the edges of containers. The apricot-pink blooms, although smaller than a Petunia, are borne in profusion, creating a bright explosion of colour that will last the whole summer long. The flowers are both weatherproof and self-cleaning so there’s no need for messy deadheading. Whether, you plant them alone or as part of a mixed display, you’ll find these Calibrachoa reliable and easy to grow. Height and spread: 35cm (14").

1 calibrachoa collection (20 Postiplug plants, 2 Garden Grow Hanging Baskets & Liners, 2 x incredicoir packs & 100g incredibloom) (KB2780)
5 calibrachoa Postiplug plants (KB7856)
10 calibrachoa Postiplug plants (KB7857)
20 calibrachoa Postiplug plants (KB7858)

How to Grow
Pot up calibrachoa plants on delivery and grow them on in warm frost-free conditions for transplanting later on. Pinch out the growing tip of each stem to encourage branching and form a bushier plant that will produce more flowers later on. When all risk of frost has passed, gradually acclimatise mini petunias to outdoor conditions over a period of 7 to 10 days, before transplanting them outdoors into baskets, window boxes and containers in well-drained soil, in full sun. Alternatively, if space allows, plant plugs directly into flower pouches, baskets or containers to be moved outside after the last frost.
More Info
Feed and water calibrachoa plants regularly, particularly during hot, dry periods. Take care not to over-water during cooler periods as this may cause the stems to rot. Regular deadheading of faded calibrachoa flowers will encourage further blooms to be produced throughout the summer.
