Feed and water container-grown plants regularly. Buddleja planted directly into borders will require only occasional attention. In spring, prune Buddleja plants back to a permanent low framework of 3 or 4 buds from the base of the plant. Deadhead faded buddleja flowers to prolong the flowering season.
Plant Buddleja in garden borders in any moist, well drained garden soil, in full sun or semi-shade. Alternatively grow buddleja plants in patio containers using soil based compost such as John Innes No.3.

Very good in pots 2016-01-11

I'm buying some more Buddleja Buzz for my neighbour - she wants some like mine. There are escapee Buddleja in my area, growning on roofs of old barns, within the walls and in gutter pipes of old buildings and the like, but the wild ones are just too big and unruly for most situations. A bit of colur variation, and a managable size is perfect the garden, or, like my own, they can be kept in pots. I bought mine when the Buzz colour range just came out, and they are now doing exactly as the name suggested, buzzing with bees in summer They have flowered resplendent through wind, rain and draught. I grow mine in old flower buckets with holes drilled in the bottom, they seem to like this sort of sized and shaped pot - but I think they would grow well in almost anything - just like there tenacious and escapolergistic uncles and aunts.

T&M replied on 2016-11-02: Thank you very much for your review. I am glad that you have been happy with your purchase. I hope we can continue to be of service to you in the future.
