Description
A lush and leafy year-round ground cover to brighten up a shaded spot. Also known as Elephant’s Ears, Bergenia cordifolia 'Purpurea' has large, glossy rounded foliage which takes on a purplish hue in winter. In spring, vibrant pink flowers emerge on upright stalks providing a welcome splash of colour to kick-start the season. The flowers are also an essential source of nectar for early bees - perfect if you’re looking to introduce more pollinator-friendly plant to the garden. Height: 50cm (30”). Spread: 75cm (30”).
