Description
Dark, heart-shaped foliage makes an elegant background for the masses of pale peach, fully double flowers. Begonia 'Solenia Apricot' is a particularly pretty variety with a mounding habit that will fill baskets and containers, spilling gently over the sides in a cascade of colour. Flowering consistently throughout summer, it makes an excellent choice for brightening up a shaded patio display. Height: 30cm (12"). Spread: 45cm (18").

How to Grow
Begonia plants can be planted directly into their final containers and grown in bright, frost-free conditions. Plugs can be planted straight into flower pouches but are best potted on first if to be displayed in baskets, window boxes or pots. They can be transplanted into their final containers once they have increased in size. When all risk of frost has passed, acclimatise Begonias to outdoor conditions over a period of 7 to 10 days, before placing them in their final positions. Choose a sunny or semi shaded position that is protected from strong winds.
More Info
Feed and water plants frequently throughout the growing season taking care not to over-water, as this will cause new flower buds to drop. Deadhead the single female begonia flowers to encourage more of the large double male flowers to be produced and to extend the flowering period.
