This begonia bonanza will keep your containers, hanging baskets and window boxes fizzing with a carnival of colour! We have brought together the best, and these carnival queens will keep dancing a sizzling samba in cold, shade, wind and rain, swishing their frilly, double blooms in hot colours and marching a tropical parade from June until the first frosts. Enjoy a non-stop party on your patio and have months of festive fun with these begonia beauties! Height and spread: 30cm (12").

Begonia Bonanza Bundle comprises:

  • Begonia Nonstop (10 Tubers) - If it's colour that you're after, then look no further! The fully double flowers come in a boisterous range of shades that jostle for attention long after most summer flowering plants have faded.
  • Begonia Apricot Shades (10 Tubers) - Large, cascading, double in shades of apricot and orange that reach 6-10cm (2.5-4") in diameter with an abundant trailing habit.
  • Begonia Cascading Fireball (5 Tubers) - Amazing fiery red, gold and bronze with flower power which even out-competes 'Apricot Shades'!
  • Begonia Nonstop Berries & Cream Mix (5 Tubers) - A profusion of ruffled, double flowers in a trio of fruity shades on gently cascading stems.

How to Grow
Tubers are ideal for containers, making a larger plant in the first year than plug plants or growing from seed. From February, start begonia tubers off in well-drained, moist compost in a warm, frost-free position in bright light. When planting begonia tubers, position them just below the compost surface with the indented side facing upwards. When begonia plants are well grown and all risk of frost has passed, gradually acclimatise them to outdoor conditions over a period of 7 to 10 days, before planting them in their final positions. Choose a sunny or semi shaded position that is protected from strong winds.
More Info
Feed and water plants frequently throughout the growing season taking care not to over-water, as this will cause new flower buds to drop. Deadhead faded blooms regularly to encourage more vibrant begonia flowers to be produced and to extend the flowering period. At the end of the growing season the leaves and stems will yellow and fall off naturally. Reduce watering to prevent begonia plants from rotting at this stage. When the stems have all dropped away, dig out the tubers. Clean and dry them before storing them away in peat or sand at 7-15°C (45-60°F) until they can be replanted next February.
