The majestic Bamboo Palm sends up tall stems that become cane-like with maturity. Graceful, arching leaves make this a most attractive foliage plant for a warm, bright room. Dypsis lutescens reaches great heights with age, but is relatively slow growing so it won’t outgrow your home in a hurry. This elegant house plant makes a wonderful specimen plant, softening architecture with its feathered foliage, and creating leafy dappled shade in the conservatory with maturity. Height: 4m (13'). Spread: 2.5m (8').

Grow Dypsis in bright, filtered light, well away from the direct glare of the sun. This palm enjoys normal room temperatures of 18C (65F) - 24C (75F), but avoid positioning it near cold draughts and radiators.
More Info Feed and water regularly throughout the growing season to maintain moist, but never waterlogged soil. Take care to drain plants well after each watering. Reduce watering in winter, allowing the soil to dry out slightly between each watering.
