Description
Arum 'Morning Sun' is perfect for adding an exotic touch to your patio or conservatory. A profusion of peachy-orange flower spathes makes an enticingly tropical display. Glossy, arrow-shaped foliage forms a neat clump, with each leaf patterned with flecks of silver. This half-hardy perennial is easy to grow, but will require a warm position over the winter months. Alternatively, the rhizomes can be lifted and stored, for replanting in the following spring. Grow this beauty in patio pots or sunny borders for a dazzling summer display. Height and spread: 50cm (20"). Spread: 40cm (16").

Please note: Some houseplants are toxic or harmful to pets if ingested. If you believe your pet has consumed a poisonous plant then seek veterinary attention immediately. Take a sample of the plant with you.

Plant height and spread is seasonal therefore we list by pot size rather than a defined plant size. The height and spread of the plant delivered will vary depending on the season, meaning arrival images are an indication only.

How to Grow
Half hardy Arum lilies are sensitive to temperatures and prefer to be kept in a cooler room at between 12C (55F) and 18C (65F). They are best positioned in a brightly lit spot, but not in the full glare of the sun – an east or west facing window is ideal.
More Info
Water regularly throughout the growing season, allowing the pot to drain well after each watering. Ensure that the soil is kept reliably moist. Avoid leaving Arum in standing water as this may cause it to rot. Feed Arums every 2 weeks until the flowers have faded. In winter, move Arum Lilies to a bright warm greenhouse, conservatory or windowsill at a minimum temperature of 12C (55F). Reduce watering to keep the compost barely moist until new shoots appear in spring.
