This majestic conifer is instantly recognizable as the Monkey Puzzle Tree. A stately evergreen conifer with a very distinctive upright, branching habit that makes this such a striking specimen plant. The near-horizontal branches are cloaked in triangular scale-like foliage and decorated with green-yellow cones in summer. Araucaria araucana is a stately tree at maturity, reaching towering heights. Give it plenty of space to create a shapely specimen that will always attract attention! Height: 12m (39’). Spread: 8m (26’).

How to Grow
Grow Araucaria trees in any rich fertile, moist but well drained soil in full sun or semi-shade. Choose a position with shelter from cold winds in winter. Araucaria will form a large specimen tree over time, so allow plenty of space when planting.
More Info
Feed and water regularly until plants are fully established. Araucaria needs virtually no maintenance once established and will naturally form a well-branched tree if given plenty of space.
