Yesterday they were almost white, today they are light blue and tomorrow they will be deep blue. Viola hybrida 'Sorbet Yesterday Today & Tomorrow' are totally unique, as each flower rapidly changes colour as it matures. The effect is enchanting as their whiskered faces mingle to give the impression of 3 varieties planted together. In most areas they are more hardy than Universal Pansies and will provide winter colour when little else is flowering. Spectacular for spring bedding and containers where they will deliver long lasting colour in an ever-changing display. Height and spread: 23cm (9").
Garden Ready Plants - Our garden ready plants are selected for garden performance, straight from the nursery. We send them to you 'green' ahead of flowering (but please note some varieties may show a few blooms), which means plants will establish quickly and all their energy goes into producing better roots, so they produce more flowers throughout the season.
Culinary note: Some parts of these flowers are edible. The crystallised petals are great decorations for cakes and cookies, or they can be added straight to green salads for an injection of colour. For more details about edible flowers click here.
