Description

Spiraea japonica 'Double Play Artist' combines deep pink flowers along with rich purple-red foliage in summer. You will enjoy months of striking colour from this deciduous shrub and as it's also been approved as an RHS plants for pollinators, we can guarantee that the wildlife in your garden will love this plant just as much as you will. Compact, mounded shape which requires very little attention if given full sun in a free draining soil. Height: 90cm (35"). Spread: 91cm (36").

How to Grow
Grow Spiraea in a sunny position, in any fertile, moist, well-drained soil.

For best performance, prune flowered shoots of Spiraea plants immediately after flowering. Mature specimens can be cut back by a quarter of the old shoots to the base.
