Description

This collection of popular perennials and flower seeds provides a superb opportunity to fill up your borders at a surprisingly low cost. Comprising both hardy plants, which will provide colourful blooms year after year, and flowering annuals to fill gaps and extend colour late into the season, it’s the perfect package for establishing a new border in a cost-effective way.

In this collection you will receive at least 6 different plug varieties from a selection of lavender, aquilegia, delphinium, echinacea, geum, achillea and many more. To allow us to offer you such a good price, we can't take orders for specific varieties, but whatever we decide to send, you won't be disappointed.

We’ve also included 5 packets of Nurseryman’s Choice Flower Seeds, comprising a lucky dip selection of some of our most popular varieties.

How to Grow
Pot up plants and grow them on in frost free conditions until all risk of frost has passed. When plants are well grown, gradually acclimatise them to outdoor conditions over 7 to 10 days before transplanting into borders and containers. The herbaceous perennials in this collection can be grown in any moist, fertile soil, in sun or semi shade. Work some compost or general fertiliser into the top 20cm of the soil prior to planting. Please see individual varieties for more information.
More Info
In autumn, cut back the old foliage to ground level and apply a mulch of well rotted manure or garden compost to the base of the plants. Lift and divide overcrowded clumps of perennials in autumn to maintain their vigour. Caution: Contact with Foxgloves may irritate the skin and eyes, and are toxic if eaten. Please see individual varieties for more information.

For more information on how we send your plants please visit our Helpful Guide on plant sizes.

Thompson & Morgan strives to ensure that all its plants are delivered to you in the perfect condition for planting. While the majority of our nursery plants cope well with slight delays in intransit, sadly, the time it takes to deliver to certain locations in the UK means that we can't guarantee this for some of our smaller plug products and tender bedding and vegetable lines, which do not respond well to the extra journey time. So regretfully while we offer the majority of our live plant offering nationwide, we are unable to ship plugs, begging plants and tender vegetable plants to the following areas: HS, IV41-IV49, IV51, IV55-56, KW15-KW17, PA34, PA41-48, PA60-PA78, PA80, PH40-PH44, TR21-TR24, ZE1-ZE3
