Description
This amazing collection of mixed kale is a perfect addition to the vegetable garden and allotment. Kale is filled with antioxidants and vitamins, its dark, nutritious leaves can be harvested from late autumn through to winter. They are a hardy vegetable and will survive majority of adverse weather conditions. Included in this mix is black magic kale which is a quite new variety of Italian black cabbage. It has been bred in a way that it will perform in the UK climate. This variety has almost five times the amount of glucosinolates than others. Reflex is a dark-leaved and very curly winter variety with a high tolerance to harsh winter conditions. They can even be used in the early summer as a ‘baby’ kale. Redbor it a gorgeous purple-leaved and very curly winter variety. It is a perfect winter to spring kale and it will not disappoint. Kale is an ideal option if space is limited as they can be grown in patio containers and will give a bumper crop of scrumptious produce.
