This unusual variety has a taste likened to lobster when cooked with butter, but can be eaten boiled, grilled or as an ingredient to many other dishes.
This windowsill mushroom kit contains everything you need, including spawned growing medium, base tray, lid and clear instructions.

Growing Instructions:
This kit is designed for indoor growing. Choose a clean area away from direct heat sources and draughts. Avoid direct sunlight to prevent overheating. Mushrooms prefer indirect, filtered light.
Step 1.Â
Place bag upright in the box and allow it to acclimatise for 24 hours in a humid place ie. kitchen cupboard. Keep the lid, you will need it later.
Step 2.Â
Cut a small slit below the seam of the bag to increase oxygen flow and start the fruiting process. After a week or two, tiny pins (mini mushrooms) will start to appear in the bag.
Step 3.
When the pins have reached 2-3cm in height, cut the top of the bag off at a height of at least 11cm above the substrate.Â
Step 4.
On the lid, remove the perforated circle at the top to reveal the window underneath - this will allow you to watch your mushrooms grow! Push the triangle on each corner inwards and sit the lid on top of the box.
Step 5.
Mist the bag inside the box twice a day with a spray bottle to prevent the substrate drying out. Pick the mushrooms when they are fully grown.Â
Please note not all mushrooms will grow at the same rate - leave the underdeveloped mushrooms until they're ready to be picked.Â

Harvesting: Take a mushroom between your fingertips and carefully pull it out with a twist of the hand. Do not pull out without twisting and do not harvest undersized mushrooms. Always water regularly to prevent the ‘cover compost’ from drying out.
