Description
Japanese Aralia is prized for its glossy palmate foliage that brings a lush, tropical feel to planting schemes. Fatsia 'Spiders Web' is a particularly intriguing variety with speckled markings that spread inwards from the outermost edges. The overall effect is an unusual, frosted appearance. Clusters of globular white flowers in autumn are followed by black berries. Despite its exotic looks, this evergreen shrub is perfectly hardy. A superb choice for those challenging, shaded positions. Height and spread: 2m (78").

Plant height and spread is seasonal therefore we list by pot size rather than a defined plant size. The height and spread of the plant delivered will vary depending on the season, meaning arrival images are an indication only.

How to Grow

More Info

For best results, provide a moist, well-drained soil in full sun or part shade. Can also be grown in containers of good, soil-based potting mix. Give a balanced liquid feed monthly during the summer. Water plants sparingly during winter and give frost protection in cooler regions.

Thompson & Morgan strives to ensure that all its plants are delivered to you in the perfect condition for planting. While the majority of our nursery plants cope well with slight delays in intransit, sadly, the time it takes to deliver to certain locations in the UK means that we can't guarantee this for some of our smaller plug products and tender bedding and vegetable lines, which do not respond well to the extra journey time. So regretfully while we offer the majority of our live plant offering nationwide, we are unable to ship plugs, begging plants and tender vegetable plants to the following areas: HS, IV41-IV49, IV51, IV55-56, KW15-KW17, PA34, PA41-48, PA60-PA78, PA80, PH40-PH44, TR21-TR24, ZE1-ZE3
