This neat, rounded shrub has a lovely compact habit – perfect for growing in patio pots as well as borders! The stunning, two-tone flowers, and gentle perfume, make this variety a real treat for the senses. Deutzia ‘Raspberry Sundae’ is a deciduous shrub, cloaked in light green foliage throughout summer which turns to gold in autumn. A lovely choice for cottage gardens and scented planting schemes. Height and spread: 90cm (36").

How to Grow

Grow Deutzia in any moist, fertile, well drained soil in full sun.

More Info

Feed and water Deutzia plants regularly until fully established. Once established, Deutzia shrubs will require little attention. After flowering, cut back the flowered shoots to a pair of healthy buds. On mature plants, remove a fifth of the oldest shoots from the base of the plant. Apply a mulch of well rotted manure or other organic matter around the base of the plant after pruning.
