Description
Bright yellow winter stems set this Dogwood shrub apart from the rest of the border, especially when everything else in the garden is dormant and a splash of colour is much needed. Cornus sericea 'Bud's Yellow' is a fast growing, spreading shrub which is ideal for adding year round interest, its white flowers appear in late Spring and will produce a white fruit later in the year, the leaves eventually turning rich autumnal colours before they fall. Height: 200cm (79"). Spread: 400cm (157").

Plant height and spread is seasonal therefore we list by pot size rather than a defined plant size. The height and spread of the plant delivered will vary depending on the season, meaning arrival images are an indication only.

More Info
Feed and water dogwoods regularly until fully established. Once established, they will require less attention. To encourage plenty of colourful stems, Dogwood will need regular pollarding in early spring. Cut back all dogwood stems to 3 buds above soil level or to a permanent low framework. Apply a mulch of well rotted manure or other organic matter around the base of the plant after pruning. Caution: Dogwood berries are harmful if eaten. Irritant to skin and eyes.
