Description
This well known RHS AGM variety is highly regarded for its narrow, dark green, glossy foliage and clusters of white, star shaped flowers. The fragrant blooms first appear in spring, but give a second flush in late summer. Choisya x dewitteana 'Aztec Pearl' is reliable, coping well in a wide range of growing conditions, including coastal gardens. This handsome, bushy evergreen shrub is easy to grow and makes a superb specimen shrub or hedging plant. Height and spread: 200cm (78").

Plant height and spread is seasonal therefore we list by pot size rather than a defined plant size. The height and spread of the plant delivered will vary depending on the season, meaning arrival images are an indication only.

How to Grow
Plant Mexican Orange Blossom in any well drained soil in full sun or partial shade, with shelter from strong winds. Alternatively grow Choisya in patio containers filled with loam-based compost such as John Innes No.3.
More Info
Water regularly throughout the growing season until Choisya plants are well established. Mexican Orange Blossom requires little attention, but benefits from a trim each year to keep it neat and tidy. After flowering, trim or lightly cut back shoots to a healthy pair of buds. Apply a mulch of well rotted manure or compost around the base of the plant in spring.
