Choisya ternata 'Apple Blossom' is the first of its kind – a Mexican Orange Blossom with bicoloured flowers! Deep pink buds open to reveal the fragrant blooms from to April and May, often followed by a second flush in late summer. This superb hardy shrub is particularly attractive with finely cut leaves that give a more delicate appearance than many varieties. With an upright, compact habit, Choisya makes an excellent evergreen specimen shrub. Low maintenance and easy to care for, giving plenty of year round interest. Height: 120cm (48"). Spread: 60cm (24").

Plant Mexican Orange Blossom in any well drained soil in full sun or partial shade, with shelter from strong winds. Alternatively grow Choisya in patio containers filled with loam-based compost such as John Innes No.3.
More Info Water regularly throughout the growing season until Choisya plants are well established. Mexican Orange Blossom requires little attention, but benefits from a trim each year to keep it neat and tidy. After flowering, trim or lightly cut back shoots to a healthy pair of buds. Apply a mulch of well rotted manure or compost around the base of the plant in spring.
