Description How to Grow More Info Delivery Reviews Video
Dark, blackened foliage topped with velvety, blood red, ‘crested’ flowers make a dramatic display. This unusual, half hardy annual has an alluring, tactile appearance that is hard to resist. Despite its peculiar looks, this bushy bedding plant is surprisingly easy to grow, often thriving under challenging hot, dry conditions. Celosia 'Dracula' makes a theatrical display when planted en masse in borders. Even better as an exotic container plant where the curious blooms can be seen in closer detail. Height: 40cm (16"). Spread: 30cm (12").

Feed and water Celosia plants regularly, particularly during hot, dry periods.
Pot up Celosia plug plants and grow them on in warm frost-free conditions for transplanting later on. When all risk of frost has passed, gradually acclimatise plants to outdoor conditions over a period of 7 to 10 days, before transplanting them outdoors into beds, borders and containers. Plant Celosia in fertile, moist, well-drained soil in a sunny, sheltered position.
