Breeding advancements ensure that as other summer bedding fades in autumn, our new pot marigold plants will carry on and on. Frost and snow? They love it! These perennials are hardy down to -15C. Use Calendula 'Winter Wonders' alongside more common winter bedding plants like pansies and primroses for a truly unique display. Supplied in four colour shades. Height and spread: 30cm (12").

  • Calendula 'Lady Godiva'
  • Calendula 'Power Daisy Sunny'

How to Grow
Pot up calendula plants and grow them on in frost free conditions for transplanting outdoors later on. When plants are well-grown and all risk of frost has passed, acclimatise them to outdoor conditions over a period of 7 to 10 days, before planting them in borders and containers in sun or partial shade.
More Info
Water regularly until plants are fully established. Deadhead faded calendula flowers to encourage more blooms to be produced and prevent them from self seeding. Culinary note: Calendula flowers are edible. The petals have been used as a substitute for saffron, and they make a bright and zesty addition to salads.
