Description
How to Grow
Alpine aster is a compact, early flowering Michaelmas daisy that is ideal for rockeries and the front of dry, sunny borders. This Aster alpinus Mixed collection produces masses of daisy-like flowers in shades of pink, purple, lilac and mauve in late spring and early summer. These hardy, drought-tolerant herbaceous perennials thrive in poor soils and dry sites. Rock asters are also great for containers. Height: 25cm (10in). Spread: 30cm (12in).
Plant height and spread is seasonal therefore we list by pot size rather than a defined plant size. The height and spread of the plant delivered will vary depending on the season, meaning arrival images are an indication only.

Plant Aster alpinus in a well-drained soil in full sun. Deadhead spent blooms to prolong flowering and cut back after flowering to retain compact shape.
