Pot up Alstroemeria plants and grow them on in frost free conditions until large enough to plant outdoors. When all risk of frost has passed, plant Peruvian Lilies in a sunny or semi shaded position in fertile, moist, well drained soil. Alternatively, plant Alstroemeria in patio containers in soil based compost such as John Innes No.3.
These tall Alstromeria plants will appreciate a climbing frame or similar support to protect their tall stems. Insert the support into the ground prior to planting and tie the stems in with soft twine throughout the growing season.
Seeds and garden supplies will normally be delivered within the time period stated against each product as detailed above. Plants, bulbs, corms, tubers, shrubs, trees, potatoes etc are delivered at the appropriate time for planting and will be stated on the product page or in your order acknowledgement page and email.
Orders for packets of seed incur a delivery charge of £1.95.
Orders which include any other products will incur a delivery charge of £4.95.
Where an order includes both packets of seeds and other products, a maximum delivery charge of £6.90 will apply - regardless of the number of items ordered.
Large items may incur a higher delivery charge - this will be displayed in your shopping basket.

For your complete peace of mind, our Home and Garden products may be returned to us within 30 days of purchase for a refund of the purchase price. Items must be returned unused, at your cost and in mint condition. All items carry a manufacturer's 12 month defects warranty.
I bought these lilies' and a high pot as a deal, initially the lilies' didn't seem to grow much but in late June they certainly sprang into life growing at a great pace, in my first season I have a beautiful tower of lillies with flowers from near the base to the very top, it is now September and they have shown no sign of stopping. I only logged on to see how to treat them over the winter and saw the poor reviews and just had to share my experience which has only been positive.

Misleading description and picture on website 2016-06-19
Like other customers, I am very disappointed with the very slow growth of the plants after a few weeks. Maybe it takes several years for the plants to be well-established and look anything like the picture but this should be clearly indicated. I think the description on the website is misleading.

Not impressed 2015-05-17
Sent these direct to my mother as a birthday present. Is it meant to be 3 or 5 plants? Here it says 3, but the confirmation email said 5. Which is it? Only 3 were delivered anyway. A couple of days after dispatch, I received an email saying they would not be dispatched until the end of May. I emailed customer service to ask why I received this email when they had already been delivered. This was two weeks ago and I have had no response. The plants were also delivered with no indication of what the plants were or how to care for them. Shoddy! I will not use Thompson & Morgan again.

Plants arrived but no Tower Pot 2015-05-05
My plants arrived on Saturday with instructions to plant as soon as possible, however, no sign of my tower pot as yet. I have made four attempts to contact customer services, three emails via your query with this order link and one unanswered 'on hold' phone call. This is my first order so not very impressed.

Peruvian Lilies 2014-10-26
Thease arrived with one broken, but it did eventually make growth. Have had 5 or 6 bunches which last and last, and the broken one flowered later but they were all quite impressive. Hopefully they will survive over winter, and be even better next year.
