Description
A beautiful herbaceous perennial with pleated, fan shaped leaves that become jewelled with twinkling raindrops. Throughout the summer, plumes of honey-scented, lime green flowers create a frothy haze above the apple-green foliage. Alchemila mollis is a delightful little plant, forming a low mound that will gently soften the edges of borders and pathways. A stalwart of cottage garden planting schemes and equally pleasing in rockeries, or grown as ground cover beneath trees and shrubs. Once established, Lady’ Mantle can be surprisingly drought tolerant and will seed about to form spreading drifts. Height: 60cm (24"). Spread: 75cm (29").

Plant height and spread is seasonal therefore we list by pot size rather than a defined plant size. The height and spread of the plant delivered will vary depending on the season, meaning arrival images are an indication only.

How to Grow
Grow Alchemilla in any reliably moist, rich fertile soil in sun or semi shade.
More Info
Feed and water Alchemilla regularly until well established. Lady’s Mantle seeds freely after flowering. If seedlings are not required simply deadhead blooms as they fade. Lift and divide overcrowded clumps of Alchemilla in spring or autumn to maintain their vigour.
