With its gentle primrose yellow blooms and classic goblet shape, Tulip 'World Friendship' makes a beautiful choice for to welcome the spring to your garden. The flowers slowly fade as the blooms age, mingling harmoniously with other spring bulbs, especially blue Muscari and Hyacinth. Plant this beauty in generous swathes throughout beds and borders for a serene mid-spring display. It is equally good in patio pots or grown as a cut flower! Height: 40cm (16"). Spread: 10cm (4").

Plant tulip bulbs in late summer or autumn. Tulips will grow well in any moist, well drained soil, except for particularly wet soils. Choose a sunny position that is sheltered from strong winds. When planting tulip bulbs avoid shallow planting as this may reduce the winter cold period that is essential for tulip bulbs to produce flowers in spring. Plant them at a depth of 15cm (6") and at a distance of 13cm (5") apart.
More Info After flowering, deadhead the faded tulip flowers and allow the foliage to die back completely before removing it in summer. Caution: Tulip bulbs are an irritant to skin and eyes, and are harmful if eaten.
