Stromanthe sanguinea 'Triostar'Calathea 'Triostar'

Place Stromanthe sanguinea 'Triostar' in a bright spot with plenty of natural light but out of direct sunlight. Water whenever the top of the compost starts to dry out, allowing any excess to drain away. Reduce watering in autumn or winter but don’t allow it to dry out completely. Avoid placing near radiators and keep above 15C. Stromanthe appreciates a humid environment so mist the leaves weekly. You can also stand it on a tray filled with pebbles and water – as the water evaporates it will increase humidity around the plant. Houseplants should be fed regularly between March and September when they are in active growth.
