With its compact, uniform shape and free-flowering habit, Shasta Daisy 'Madonna' makes a fabulous patio plant! Unlike its taller cousins, this hardy Leucanthemum remains a neat cushion-shape, producing a succession of gleaming-white daisy blooms from summer through to autumn. The flowers are a magnet for butterflies and pollinating insects. Grow this pretty perennial in terracotta pots for a rustic display, or planted in generous groups in sunny borders to create a long-lasting focal point. Height: 20cm (8”). Spread: 30cm (12”).

How to Grow

Grow Shasta Daisies in any moist, well drained soil in sunny or semi shaded borders.

Feed and water regularly until plants are established. Deadhead faded leucanthemum flowers throughout summer to promote a constant supply of fresh blooms. Lift and divide overcrowded clumps of shasta daisy in spring or late summer, after flowering. Reduce the old stems to ground level in autumn.
