1 x 9cm potted salvia plant (KB6845)

How to Grow
Plant salvias outdoors in moist, well drained soil, and situated in a sheltered spot in full sun.
More Info
Feed and water regularly until fully established. Although perennial, Salvia patens is half hardy and may require winter protection in all but the mildest areas of the UK. When growing Salvia patens in containers, it can be cut back in autumn and moved to a cold greenhouse or conservatory. Alternatively, lift the tubers before first frosts and store in trays of barely moist peat. Keep Salvia tubers somewhere cool but frost-free over winter.
