Description
With a multitude of culinary uses, Sage 'Tricolour' makes a particularly attractive addition to the herb garden. The colourful variegated foliage, is deeply aromatic, making it equally useful for garnishing dishes and adding a rich flavour to meats and stuffing. Sage is undemanding and easy to grow, tolerating periods of drought with ease once established. The flavour of the leaves will be best when growing sage in warm, dry conditions. Height: 60cm (24"). Spread: 90cm (36").

Culinary Herb note: Some parts of these plants are edible and can be used as herbs to add flavour and colour to your meals. For more details about edible flowers click here.

Plant height and spread is seasonal therefore we list by pot size rather than a defined plant size. The height and spread of the plant delivered will vary depending on the season, meaning arrival images are an indication only.

More Info
Once established sage requires little attention and copes well with dry conditions. Prune sage plants in spring to encourage new shoots with a strong flavour. Harvest the leaves as and when required once plants are well grown.
