Perfect for colourful, hardy groundcover, Potentilla fruticosa 'Medicine Wheel Mountain' is a deciduous shrub that grows in an almost prostrate fashion. A Shrubby cinquefoil that has small grey-green leaves and masses of bright yellow flowers all through the summer months and extending into the autumn too, this plant is absolutely perfect for a low maintenance area of the garden where is natural spreading habit will help to smother any unwanted weeds. It could also be used to grow in a rockery where it will soon grow in and amongst the stones. Height: 50cm (20"). Spread: 100cm (39").

Grow potentilla in any moderately fertile, well drained soil in full sun.
More Info Feed and water regularly until young potentilla plants are fully established. Shrubby Potentilla plants should be pruned after flowering. Remove any damaged or dead stems before cutting back the flowered stems to within 2.5cm (1") of the previous year’s growth.
