Description
Looking like huge snowflakes that have just fallen, the beautiful double blooms of Philadelphus 'Snowbelle' top this excellent hardy shrub in profusion. The dark, glossy leaves of this Mock Orange provide the perfect backdrop to show off the lovely scented flowers when they appear in early summer. Easy to keep and requiring no special attention, these lovely deciduous shrubs are perfect as a prominent part of a shrub collection or border where they can really shine. Its smaller size also means it is an ideal specimen to grow in larger containers on the patio where the scent can be allowed to drift into your home too. Height: 120cm (47"). Spread: 120cm (47").

Plant height and spread is seasonal therefore we list by pot size rather than a defined plant size. The height and spread of the plant delivered will vary depending on the season, meaning arrival images are an indication only.

How to Grow
Grow Philadelphus plants in a sunny or semi shaded position, in any well drained soil. Prior to planting, incorporate plenty of well rotted manure or garden compost into the soil. Plant Mock Orange plants at the same depth as they were planted in their pots. Backfill the planting hole and water well to settle the soil.
More Info
Water regularly throughout the growing season until young plants are fully established. In spring, apply a mulch of well rotted manure or garden compost to the base of the plant. Philadelphus requires little pruning. After flowering cut back stems to a healthy bud and remove a fifth of the old stems to ground level.
