Description
Transform your garden into an oasis of summer colour with our great-value clematis plants perfect for adding instant impact and colour. Clothe your fences, walls, pergolas or archways with a hardy, well grown, 2 litre potted plant that will give you superb coverage almost immediately and a beautiful display of blooms every year!

Clematis are easy to grow, with very little attention needed other than food and water. Use them to hide an unsightly fence, cover an old shed or simply to decorate an obelisk. However you choose to display your clematis plants, you are guaranteed to be happy with the results.

To allow us to offer you such a good price, we can't take orders for specific varieties, but whatever we decide to send, you won't be disappointed! Please note, the varieties you will receive may differ from those illustrated. Image is for illustration purposes only.

Plant height and spread is seasonal therefore we list by pot size rather than a defined plant size. The height and spread of the plant delivered will vary depending on the season, meaning arrival images are an indication only.

How to Grow
When planting clematis, choose a position in sun or semi-shade and plant the climber deeply in moist, fertile, well drained soil. Position the top of the rootball at a depth of 7.5cm (3") below soil level, to encourage new shoots to form from the base of the plant. Clematis dislike soils that are particularly wet or dry. Such soils can be improved by the addition of plenty of well rotted manure or garden compost. When growing clematis in patio containers use a soil based compost such as John Innes No.3. Train clematis plants onto a suitable support such as trellis, wires or a freestanding climbing frame.
