Description
Crowds of tall stems topped with candelabras of waxy bell-shaped blooms make an eye catching display. Each flower of this unusual relation to the allium family is a delicate bicolour of cream, flushed with deep rose. Thriving in light soils, Nectaroscordum siculum will quickly seed about to create spectacular groups. Perfect for dotting about in borders or planting throughout gravel gardens and rockeries. Height: 120cm (48"). Spread: 10cm (4").

How to Grow
Grow nectaroscordum bulbs in fertile, light, well drained soil in full sun or semi shade. Avoid planting in cold wet soils as the bulbs are prone to rot in these conditions. Plant the bulbs at a depth of 10cm (4") and a distance of 10cm (4") apart. A slow release fertilizer can be added to poor soils at the time of planting to improve fertility.
More Info
Nectaroscordum plants require little maintenance and will seed about freely in light soils to create magnificent groups. Divide overcrowded clumps of nectaroscordum in autumn.
