Forming elegant spikes of intense purple/blue above handsome clumps of green foliage, Lobelia ‘Starship Blue’ is a stunning addition to a late border, creating strong vertical accents of vivid colour amongst other plants. Easy to grow in any reliably moist soil, and positively thrives in those poorly drained areas of the garden. A lovely choice for cottage garden borders, exotic planting schemes, or brightening up your patio. Height: 60cm (24"). Spread: 45cm (18").

When all risk of frost has passed, gradually acclimatise lobelia plants to outdoor conditions over a period of 7 to 10 days before transplanting them into their final containers in any, well drained soil, in a sunny or semi-shaded position.
More Info Feed and water lobelia plants frequently throughout the summer to promote an endless supply of delicate lobelia flowers. Caution: irritant to skin and eyes.
